To celebrate its 65th Anniversary, the Globe Theatre returns to the play that opened its doors in 1961, Romeo and Juliet. Reimagined in rural Otago in May 1961, this intimate and visceral production, directed by Brent Caldwell, brings Shakespeare’s tale of “star-crossed lovers” close to home.
