Under Milk Wood will be presented as a rehearsed reading. This a play for voices, richly poetic and full of wry humour. Its setting is two-fold: its external landscape is the fictional Welsh fishing village of Llareggub; its interior landscape, the internal lives of Llaregubb's 69 inhabitants. These inhabitants voice their various hopes, fears and yearnings, in monologue and dialogue, not only in their dreams, but also in their daily waking lives. A poetic masterpiece!
2.00 pm Sunday 17 September. Koha only including afternoon tea.
