The Southern Regional Round of Theatre New Zealand’s one act play festival will take place at the Globe Theatre Dunedin on Saturday 20 August. This the first time in some years a sage of this national festival has been held in Dunedin and the newly renovated Globe is delighted to be hosting it.
Three plays have come through from the initial round held in Invercargill:
- The Bear by Anton Chekov (Invercargill Repertory)
- Eating The Wolf By Sarah Delahunty (Wakatipu High School)
- Carol & Nev by Phil Ormsby (Clyde Theatre Group).
These three groups will be adjudicated by Wellington’s Ewan Colman and the successful competitor will go on to the national finals.
