1917: One Story, One Year, One Great War

Home / 1917: One Story, One Year, One Great War

In January 1917 three friends leave for war. At times humorous, but deeply moving, and always engaging, theirs is a journey from the banks of the Taieri River to the horrors of Paschendaele. They have three different, reasons for going, but they go as mates together. However by December 1917 their story has had three very different, and frighteningly isolating outcomes.

Our campaign for the repairs is in full swing and we ask all of you to rally to the flag, do the right thing, show a fine spirit and dig in your pockets to help us by coming along to a staged rehearsed reading of this new work.
